About Me

I am Michael Gianni, the physical education teacher at Sue Cleveland Elementary.

The 2017-2018 school year is my first year with Sue Cleveland Elementary and I am very excited to meet all the students and their families along with the SCE staff.

I am originally from Syracuse, NY. Home of one of the snowiest cities in the country! I am very excited about the change of pace in weather and what Greenville County has to offer.

Over the past couple years I have taught within a couple of schools in Upstate New York. While completing my undergrad I played four years of college baseball at the College of Brockport. Also as I moved on to completing my Masters at the College of Brockport I was named Assistant Coach of the baseball team for two years. It was an amazing time being able to coach a sport I have a deep passion for and to help young players grow as athletes at my Alma mater, Go Golden Eagles!

Interests/Hobbies/Fun Facts:

• Baseball is my favorite sport!
• Favorite Teams: Red Sox (MLB), Eagles (NFL), Bruins (NHL), Celtics (NBA)
• Love physical activity so I am always looking for things to do such as golfing, hiking, playing pick-up basketball games
• I want to visit all 30 MLB Ball Parks
