Hello! My name is Mrs. Davis and I am a first grade teacher at Bethel Elementary School. I am married and have two daughters a son-in-law and a future son-in-law. My youngest daughter will be getting married in May, 2018. My hobbies are traveling, reading, skiing, exercising, shopping and spending time with my family.

After 34 years of teaching young children, I believe that all children can learn. Although they learn at different rates, through different styles, I believe it is my job to find out how they learn best and use teaching strategies that will accommodate their needs and maximize their potential. One of my goals is to foster a love of reading in my students, because reading well is the key to a successful student. Creating a happy, positive learning environment is vital to the success of this goal and I will strive to accomplish it. Students will be encouraged to work cooperatively and responsibly in a variety of settings. We will become a community of friends and learners, within our classroom. First grade is an amazing year of growth and I am looking forward to working with you and your child.
