Hello, my name is Sara Bowers.

I am happy to be part of the community at Carolina for another year. I graduated from Carolina High School in 2012. I'm grateful to be able to come back and teach in the community I know and care deeply about.

I graduated from Converse College with my B.A. in Comprehensive Special Education. I received my Masters of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governor's University. I am currently working to earn my ESOL teacher credentials.

My Philosophy:

I truly believe that any student can learn and succeed in school as long as they are taught in the way they understand best. Each student is unique and I do my very best to understand and work with the various learning needs I encounter. I know it’s going to be a great year full of new friends, new experiences, and new discoveries.

About me

My husband and I are high school sweethearts.

We have 1 little boy that brings so much joy and love to our lives.

We like going to rock concerts and playing D&D together. We also enjoy traveling when we're able to. Last summer we finally got to fulfill a lifelong dream of visiting Scotland, it was AWESOME!
