About the teacher

My name is Ms. Riedel, and this is my twentieth year teaching middle school, and my second year teaching ESOL at Berea Middle School. This year, I will teach Fundamentals 1, Fundamentals 2 and Level A.  I have a Master's Degree in Education from Gratz College as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education from Auburn University. I am currentlly taking classes from University of South Carolina at Aiken to become a certified ESOL teacher. I am originally from Alabama, but have spent most of my teaching career in Maryland. I enjoy spending time with my family and pup. I love to read a good book! I look forward to working with you this 2023-2024 school year!

Mi nombre es Sra. Riedel, y este es mi vigésimo año enseñando en la escuela secundaria y mi segundo año enseñando ESOL en la escuela secundaria Berea. Este año, enseñaré Fundamentos 1, Fundamentos 2 y Nivel A. Tengo una Maestría en Educación de Gratz College y una Licenciatura en Educación Física de la Universidad de Auburn. Actualmente estoy tomando clases de la Universidad de Carolina del Sur en Aiken para convertirme en maestra certificada de ESOL. Soy originario de Alabama, pero he pasado la mayor parte de mi carrera docente en Maryland. Me gusta pasar tiempo con mi familia y mi cachorro.
