Welcome to my page I'm Kate Spigener, and this is my first year teaching at FIHS. It is my 13th year in Education, including 3 years at Sumter High School, 4 years at Clinton Middle School, and 5 years in Grant work/Academic Intervention. I live in Gray Court with my husband and 2 daughters, who will be in Kindergarten and Second Grade at Fountain Inn Elementary. I graduated from Presbyterian College in '06 with a degree in Secondary English Education and a minor in Music. I enjoy reading, cooking, gardening, traveling, making music, and spending time with my family. My favorite thing about working in education is building relationships with students from all walks of life. I can't wait to get to know all of you and your families this year!
