School Procedures

Absences:

If your child is absent please send a note the day your child returns to class. Please remember vacations are considered unexcused absences. Your child will need to make up work that was completed during their absence.

Sending Money to School:

When you are sending money to school with your child, please place it in an envelope or zip lock bag. Please label the envelope or bag with your child’s name, teacher, and the purpose for which the money has been sent. Sending loose cash creates much confusion for teachers and children and can very easily be lost.

Late Arrivals/Early Dismissals:

If your child is late to school for any reason, as soon as the student arrives, please walk your child in. They must stop by the front office and receive a tardy pass.

If you should need to pick your child up before dismissal time, please send a note that morning so we can make a record of the dismissal. When you arrive at school to pick up your child, please go to the office and they will call our classroom and let us know that you are there to pick up your child.

Afternoon Transportation Change:

Any transportation change must be communicated with me. Please send a note explaining the change. If there is a last minute change, please contact the front office at 355-4100 to leave the message so that I am sure to receive it.
