Dear Parents and Students,

My name is Samantha Nance, and I began my teaching career at Riverside in August of 2016. I originally started in 2015 as the athletic trainer for RHS and left as the head athletic trainer in September of 2020. I continue to be an athletic trainer for hospital events. I have developed a passion for teaching about the sports medicine field that I have been heavily involved in since I was in high school.

I am the student council advisor and look forward to growing as an educator in that way. I was a member of student council in high school and am a 2011 inductee into the SCASC Hall of Fame.

It is my pleasure to have the opportunity to teach at Riverside High School. I am thrilled to have your student in my classroom. Whether they have a passion for sports, an interest in the medical field, or are excited to be a leader in the school, I hope to foster growth and learning in and out of the classroom.
