About

Swords and Stories is a collaborative storytelling club that allows students to expand their creativity and social-emotional learning through the lens of Role Playing Games (RPGs). Students will create characters and work as a team throughout a story that they will build alongside club sponsor, Ms. Booth. This story will contain puzzles and challenges that give students the opportunity to teamwork, problem solve, and work together to reach their goals!

When?

Swords and Stories Club will run every week from 3:30-5:00. Our start date will be communicated to applicants through e-mail. Please make sure you have a ride to take you home at 5:00.

If you have to miss a week, that's okay! Please just let Ms. Booth know!

Where?

We will meet in the Riverside Middle School Media Center.

What to Bring?

Please bring a pencil, your creativity, and anything you'd like to snack on during the session!

In order to play Dungeons & Dragons, (the RPG that we will be using), you will also need a set of RPG dice (available at your local bookstore, game shop, or online). You may bring your own, or borrow some from your GM.
