About Mrs. Cannon

My name is Stephanie Cannon, and I am so excited to be your child's fifth grade teacher. This is my eighth year at Skyland, and I feel so lucky to be working with such a supportive community. The Skyland staff, parents, and students have made me feel so welcome in the last few years, and I am looking forward to what I know will be an amazing year.

I completed my degree at USC Upstate, where I graduated and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. Teaching is my passion, and I believe that all children are capable of success in the classroom. I will be working closely with each of your children to find the ways they learn best, and using those ways to enhance their learning. I am confident that we have a great year ahead of us, and as always, your child's education remains my top priority.

I became Mrs. Cannon during the summer of 2016. My husband, John, and I had a beautiful wedding ceremony where we celebrated our marriage with our family and friends. We are so excited to be living in Greenville! We have a beautiful daughter that was born in August 2017, and her name is Ivy. She is full of sass and keeps us on our toes daily!
