6th Grade Science

Bonds 6th grade science course is a great introduction to the application of science knowledge to real-world problems and issues. Over the course of this year, students will understand how to incorporate scientific methodology into all of their science and non science inquiries. Specifically, students will explore the concept of energy and how it is conserved, Earth's weather and climate, the classification of living organisms, animal adaptation. Lastly, to finish the year, we will examine and classify the characteristics of protists, fungi, and plants. By the end of this course with diligence and hard work, each students will be prepared for the more rigorous explorations found in 7th grade science.
