All About Your Teachers

My name is Rachel Stripling. I am originally from Atlanta, GA, but have lived in the South my whole life. I graduated from North Greenville University in 2018 with a major in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Vocal Performance. Your child will be singing all sorts of Kindergarten songs very soon! After I finished college, I loved the Greenville area so much I decided to stay. I did my student teaching here at Skyland, and was offered a job right before I graduated. This is my sixth year teaching full time, but my seventh year at Skyland! I recently got married this past December, so some of you may remember me as Miss Wade! When I am not teaching, I love to make new recipes, decorate cakes, read books, play tennis with my husband, tend to my flowers, and find new ways to reach my students. We are also big Disney fans, who are always looking for new traveling adventures! I am beyond excited to be at Skyland Elementary as a Kindergarten teacher! We will have a wonderful year together exploring, creating, and most of all growing together as a class!

My name is Amanda Foster and I will be working with your child this year! This is my 6th year of working as an assistant and my second year at Skyland. I am beyond excited to work alongside your children! A little about myself. I have been married for 15 years and have three beautiful, very active little boys. We love rock climbing and doing all things sports related, go Tigers! In my down time I love to bake, tend to my flower garden or shop. My husband says Target and TJ Maxx are my second home! I am looking forward to an amazing year and can't wait to meet all of you!
