Hello parents and students! A little bit about me...this is my 17th year teaching English at Hillcrest High; before my teaching career, I was in the corporate management world for ten years. I have bachelor's degrees in both English and history from Judson College in Marion, Alabama, and a Master's in Liberal Arts in English from Converse College in Spartanburg, SC, as well as post graduate work at Clemson and Walden Universities.

My husband, Chad, and I love to camp, travel, spend time with our family and our little grandson, Ford (he is the adorable little man above)! I am also an avid Alabama football fan, love to read, fish, and do anything crafty.
