Hello there! I am so excited to work with you all this year. I am native to the state of New York. I grew up on Long Island and then attended Wells College in Upstate, New York. At Wells, I played field hockey and lacrosse and majored in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. After Wells, I moved to Rochester, NY, where I received my first masters in Secondary Education and started my teaching career as a high school chemistry teacher. After my first year of teaching, I moved to Greenville with my now husband, Cody! 

This will be 6th year teaching, but my first year back at the high school level after teaching 7th grade science the past 4 years. Last year I received my second masters in TESOL from Furman University (Go Paladins!). I will be the head coach of the girls lacrosse program and I am so, so excited! 

A few other things that I absolutely love are my dog, River, the Buffalo Bills, and the New York Rangers (y'all need to watch some hockey).  I am a huge exercise fanatic and love to travel! I cannot wait to get to know all of you as the school year begins.
