Freshman Academy Vision

To prepare secondary students, in a rigorous setting, to meet the academic, social, and cultural expectations necessary to complete their secondary education and find success in all aspects of life.

FA Mission

The mission of the Freshman Academy is to help incoming freshmen become acclimated to the high school setting by developing a safe and productive academic environment while holding them to high standards that will serve them through high school and beyond.

The core subjects of English, Math, Science, and Social Studies are all taught in close proximity in order to minimize distractions by upperclassmen.

By creating a cohesive freshmen-centered area in our school, teachers become mentors, trusted faces, and helping hands with the goal to make the transition from eighth grade to ninth grade go more smoothly. With close attention to detail, we help our students achieve a higher level of success.
