Hello! Thanks for stopping by my web site.  Resource is a class for students who struggle academically in areas such as reading, writing, or math skills.  I also assist students who have other disabilities, such as Autism or behavioral difficulties. All of my students have IEP's, which stands for Individualized Education Program. This plan, developed by an IEP team consisting of the parent, teacher, administrator, and myself, outlines how we will help the student in what area(s).  

I have been teaching 20+ years.  I received my undergraduate degree from The University of South Carolina and my Master's degree from Francis Marion University.  I was honored to be named Teacher of the Year for the 2010-11 school year. I am a certified Wilson and SRA instructor for the district. I also serve as Special Education Contact Teacher for my school.
