Homework Assignments
Students will be given 11 grades per nine-week period. Three will be formal tests and count as Major grades (50%) and the other 8 Minor grades will be divided into two categories. The first category is quizzes and projects, there will be 7 given during the course of the nine weeks. The final minor grade will be a cumulative class work/homework grade taken over the course of the nine weeks. Students will be given 18 total (2 to 3 weekly) assignments that they will need to complete in class and, if not completed in class, become homework. At the end of the nine weeks, the students will receive a minor grade based on these assignments. To the right is a ratio breakdown of how these assignments will be graded, please reach out to your student's teacher if you have any questions.
