About Me

I graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Industrial Engineering. I also have a Masters in Business Administration. I worked as an Industrial Engineer and also in the Management Consulting Division of Ernst and Young. With my job, I traveled all over North America, and even traveled as far as South Africa and Japan.

I left my consulting career for my most rewarding adventure- my three boys, Mike, Chris and Stephen. They are all Clemson graduates in civil engineering and are currently building roads, bridges and power plants across the USA. I enjoyed the years I had as a full time mom, traveling with Mike on the South Carolina Junior golf circuit, watching Chris swim at Clemson for 4 years and make it to the Olympic Trials, and watching Stephen and his team win the AAAA state high school soccer championship. I was also able to get in a few tennis championships for me along the way.

The day I decided to pursue my lifelong dream of teaching math was another "best" decision that I made. This is my eighth year at Eastside and I am looking forward to many more. I have enjoyed every minute of being here at the "world's greatest high school" and could not imagine being anywhere better.

When I am not teaching my favorite subject of math, I enjoy traveling, reading, working in my yard and attending Clemson athletic events with my boys. I am also the proud Mimi of two granddaughters, Joanna and Makenna, and visit them in Orlando every chance I get!
