8th Grade Math

The 8^th Grade Math course competencies are presented for a one-year traditional course that meets the state 8^th Grade Math standards. In this course students will build on what they have learned in previous math courses to help prepare them for math courses they will be taking in high school. They will continue to work with rational numbers, ratios, proportions and how they relate to each other. They will develop their knowledge and skills in Algebra concepts such as writing, graphing and solving functions and equations. They will also continue to build on basic geometry skills and statistics. This course consists of 9 units.
