Education Background

I have practiced speech pathology since 1987 in various public school districts. I received my Bachelors of Arts with a major in Speech Pathology at Rutgers University, my Masters in Education Leadership at American Public University online program, and my PhD in Education Research and Evaluation at Nova Southeastern University. I have provided speech services for children at grades pre-kindergarten through high school in regular education and special education programs.

The speech/language program includes literacy-based activities aligned to grade level standards, interactive software/technology, theme-based written activities, and instructional games to improve the communication skills of children with speech and language disabilities as indicated in their Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs). I am thankful for the opportunity to work with the children and families of Greenville County Schools.
