My name is Amelia Murphy and I love working with preschool students. I studied Anthropology and Education Policy at Loyola University Chicago and earned my Master of Education in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Illinois Chicago. Before working in the school setting I worked in Chicago's homeless and domestic violence shelters supporting the academic needs of families. I enjoy spending my free time with my husband of seven years, Lennon, and my dog, Fawkes. We like to explore hiking trails, drink a cup of coffee, and read a good book.
