Code of Conduct

View the Code of Conduct and 4 Stars Behavior Plan below.

A main goal of our classroom is to create a community of lifelong learners. In order to maintain a safe environment for students and be respectful to all of our peers, we must all follow house rules. It is important that the students feel safe, both physically and emotionally in the classroom. It is also important that as your child grows as a learner, he or she must also grow as an individual. Therefore, each student must work to develop self-discipline, learn to exhibit appropriate behaviors, and think independently. The establishment of rules and procedures in the classroom will start us off in the direction of becoming a growing community of learners.

Both the code of conduct and the 4 stars behavior plan used in the classroom were shared with parents at the parent orientation sessions, as well as Open House. A copy of the behavior plan is below. Parents kept a copy in their kindergarten folder, and returned a signed copy to school. The returned copy was placed in each student’s file.
