About Me

Hello all!  My name is Kristen Pickens, and I am super excited to be your child's first grade teacher this year!  I received my Masters in Early Childhood Education from Converse College in May 2021.  I also have a bachelors degree in marketing from Florida State University (Go Noles!!!), which is where I met my husband, Billy.  Together we have 3 children:  Trey (14), Luke (12), and Sarah (10).  We also have two fur babies named Abby and Sophie. 

 I love to spend time with my family and friends, reading, exercising, and traveling.  The beach is my favorite place on Earth though being near any body of water makes my soul rejoice! Of course it has to be said that the best place in all of Greenville is the Ice Cream Station where even Abby and Sophie enjoy a tasty ice cream treat!  

Now that I've shared all about me, let me just say that I cannot wait to make the 2023-24 school year the best yet!
