About Me

I grew up in Papillion, Nebraska, where I graduated from Papillion La-Vista High School before beginning my travels South. I graduated from the Missouri University of Science and Technology with a B.S. in Biology.

From there I went to the University of South Alabama where I received my Master's degree in Biology studying freshwater ecology. While completing my Master's degree, I taught undergraduate biology labs for several years.

After graduating, I went on to work with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and the US Space and Rocket Center before joining GATE so that I could return to teaching. I hope to use my diverse background to bring new experiences to the students as a Freshman Academy teacher. I'm looking forward to an excellent year at Greer High School.

In my downtime I enjoy playing Disc Golf, watching soccer, and reading.
