  • Flute: tuning slide grease, cleaning kit

  • Clarinet: reeds, cork grease, cleaning kit

  • Trumpet: Valve oil, tuning slide grease, cleaning kit

  • Trombone: slide oil, tuning slide grease, cleaning kit

How will I choose my instrument?

What are my instrument choices for Beginner Band?

• Beginner Band students have the option of choosing flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, trumpet, trombone, or percussion instruments.

How do I get my own instrument?

• See the "How to get an instrument" page on this website.

By what date should I have my instrument and materials?

• All students should have their instrument and other supplies no later than Tuesday, September 5!

What is the Beginning Band Method Book?
