ABOUT ME
I am very happy to be a part of the Northwest Middle School Team and to serve my community this is my 9th year at Northwest. I have taught both middle and high school Science. I am a National Board Certified Teacher highly qualified in Middle and High School. I have a Masters Degree in Teaching from The Citadel my undergraduate work was at Charleston Southern University where I received a Bachelor of Science Degree and Spartanburg Methodist College where I received an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts .
I have taught in Greenville County since 1995. I have three beautiful daughters ages 20, 21 and 23 one attending school in Greenville County. My oldest daughter is a 2nd year teacher and teaches 3rd grade in Greenville County. My middle daughter attends Pharmacy school at MUSC- Charleston SC. !! My 20 year old is a junior at University of North Carolina- Asheville where she plays college basketball!!! My husband and I have been married 25 years this November 2023. When I am not working I enjoy basketball, traveling and spending time with my family. In addition I enjoy attending church and sporting events. I am excited to begin this year.
