**END OF YEAR ANNOUNCEMENTS**

!!PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS!!

-Parents and students have all been sent emails with every bit of this information. Please make sure you take time to go over this. We are grateful that the district is allowing us to do some modified celebrations for the end of the school year! Read all of the information below:

*You are to bring back your CHROMEBOOK and CHARGER on TUESDAY, JUNE 2ND from 8AM - 10AM in the gym. At this time you will also pay any fees you owe (lost library books, etc.) You will also pick up any items you had in the nurse's office, your personal belongings, yearbooks (if you ordered one), and anything else you left at school when we shut down.

*All 3rd-8th grade families should access the school via the back parking lot. Once parking your car in a designated spot, only one adult should accompany their student to a marked exterior gym door. Please be respectful and watchful of faculty and staff who will be assisting with this process. If needed, our faculty/staff will direct you to where you should go. Pay attention to any directional signs, arrows, or markings that are displayed.

*We will have a VIRTUAL AWARDS CEREMONY FOR ALL 5TH GRADERS ON MONDAY, JUNE 1ST at 6:00PM. You will receive a Zoom Link in your email closer to this date (this is a program similar to Google Meet) to watch the awards ceremony!! :)

*WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A CELEBRATION PARADE!!!!! Please read carefully. The PARADE WILL BE ON WEDNESDAY, JUNE 3RD at 4:00PM!! You will enter the front carline as space allows the same way you would for drop off or pick up. Please stop at the orange cones. When the carline is full, there will be spill-over space at Phillis Wheatley Community Center. Please be sure that all passengers remain in your vehicles. As much as we want to share hugs, high-fives, etc., we cannot. Teachers will be lined up (6ft apart) in front of the school with banners to celebrate you!!! :)

----------------------------------

***Parents – Just a friendly reminder to PLEASE send a written excuse (doctor or parent) within 2 school days of a student’s absence. Notes can be emailed directly to Ms. Chrissy Hammonds at cdhammon@greenville.k12.sc.us. Without a note, your child will automatically receive an unexcused absence. After 4 unexcused absences, an attendance conference will be required. Thank you for your help and cooperation!
