Welcome to Ms Maryanne Lewell's page! (it's pronounced Loo-elle with both syllables; it is not pronounced like jewel) 

I currently teach IB History of the Americas,  IB US History/AP US History, IB Theory of Knowledge and Extended Essay, and US History and the Constitution at Southside High School. You will find me in room 133 (in the lower green hallway) for 2023-2024.

Once upon a time at Southside, I taught English 1.  Before that, in Canada, I taught IB European History, World Issues and Conversational French amongst other courses. I have had an interesting career.
