About Me

A Florida native, my family moved to South Carolina from Kentucky in 2009. After graduating from Jacksonville University, I worked as an educator in an environmental center and later as science lab coordinator for an elementary school. During this time, I received my Master's Degree in Secondary Science Curriculum from Florida State University. My middle school experience began in Kentucky and continued after the move to South Carolina. I "paused" my teaching career to stay home with my son and have been lucky to return to teaching at such a fantastic school as Hughes Academy. I look forward to all the exciting engineering endeavors that your students and I will undertake during the semester.
