My name is Ms. Jackson and I am so excited to be your 3rd grade teacher for this school year! I am looking forward to an amazing year here at The Fork!
I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio! I went to the University of Kentucky for my B.A. in Elementary Education. GO CATS! Then, I received my Masters of Educational Technology Degree from Miami University. I moved to Greenville, South Carolina two years ago with my golden retriever puppy named Barley to join the Fork Shoals Family and I am so excited to be here with you!
I really enjoy walking my dog, reading, hiking and traveling. I love to be outside! Spending time with friends and family is something I love more than anything... coffee is pretty close though :)
This school year will be full of learning, growing and wild adventures! Our classroom will become a family that accepts, loves and respects one another. Hands-on, interactive activities driven by standards and personalized learning goals will be a large part of this school year. Personalized learning within the curriculum is extremely important and crucial to student academic development.
