About Me

Carla Patrice McDaniel

My teaching career began in Greenwood, South Carolina in 1997, as an assistant teacher and substitute teacher. Since then, I have taught Special Education, Social Studies, and Language Arts.

I grew up in Greenville County and graduated from Hillcrest High School. I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in History from Lander University, a Master of Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix, and received my EDS in Educational Leadership Administration from Clemson University and I am currently enrolled in the Doctoral Program at South Carolina State University.

I have a son (Peyton) who is Eleven years old. My nieces and my nephew are graduates of South Carolina State University and Spellman College, are also educators. I am a member of the Greenville South Carolina Alumni Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, and I am also a remember of The Order of Eastern Star, Genesis Chapter. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, shopping, reading, and working with the youth of my church. I published my first book in June 2020 entitled; "The Book of Carlaology".

Mi carrera docente comenzó en Greenwood, Carolina del Sur en 1997, como maestra asistente y maestra sustituta. Desde entonces, he enseñado Educación Especial, Estudios Sociales y Artes del Lenguaje.

Crecí en el condado de Greenville y me gradué de la preparatoria Hillcrest. Tengo un hijo (Peyton) que tiene once años. Mis sobrinas y mi sobrino son graduados de la Universidad Estatal de Carolina del Sur y Spellman College, también son educadores. Soy miembro del Capítulo de Antiguos Alumnos de Greenville South Carolina de Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, y también soy miembro de The Order of Eastern Star, Capítulo Génesis. En mi tiempo libre, disfruto pasar tiempo con mi familia y amigos, ir de compras, leer y trabajar con los jóvenes de mi iglesia. Acabo de publicar mi primer libro en junio de 2020 titulado; "El Libro de Carlaología"
