Ms. Johnson
My name is Angela Johnson, and I am so excited to be teaching first grade this year. I am blessed to have this opportunity to teach your child. I would like to take this time to tell you a few things about myself both personal and professional.
I live in the small town of Pendleton South Carolina. I love to spend time with family, friends, and attend church activities. I also love to shop, travel, and read. I am a highly qualified teacher with my Associate degree in Computer Science from Spartanburg Methodist College, Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood from Southern Wesleyan University, and a Master's in Early Literacy from Nova Southeastern University. I substituted in Anderson School District Four and taught a Life skills class at Gettys Middle School in Easley South Carolina. This will be my twentieth year teaching. I taught in Greenville County Schools for fourteen years. In Greenville County, I taught third grade for thirteen years and first grade for one year. Also, I taught first grade at EP Todd in Spartanburg for four years as well as a 2nd grade virtual class. . This will be my second year at Thomas E. Kerns where I will be your child’s first grade teacher this year!!
You are the most important people in your child’s life, and we need to work together for your child’s benefit. I need you to support my academic, homework, and discipline efforts. I will also keep you informed weekly about your child’s progress. Thank you for the privilege of teaching your child this year. Looking forward to a wonderful year!! I am so looking forward to meeting you all very soon!!
Respectfully,
Ms. Johnson
