About Me

My name is Meghan Hogberg and this is my first year back at Northwood after working in another district for the past four years.   This year will be my 14th year working in Education.  Previously I have taught in a self-contained classroom for students with Emotional and Behavioral needs at the elementary level, an inclusion teacher at the middle school level, multi-categorical self-contained teacher at the middle school level, and most recently as a Special Education Coordinator.

I graduated in 2008 from Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, NY with a degree in English and certifications in both Elementary and Special Education.  I moved to Greenville in January of 2009 and began my career in Special Education.  I obtained my Masters degree in Special Education with a concentration in Emotional and Behavioral Disabilities from Furman University in 2011.  I have also earned my Educational Specialist degree in Administration and Supervision from Clemson University in 2018.

I have a son who will be a freshman at Wade Hampton High School this school year.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, playing with my dogs (Roxy, and Loki), horse (Quint), and cat (Oliver), reading, and traveling.
