Meet Ms. Hart

About Ms. Hart

My name is Lilian Hart, and I am thrilled to teach second grade at Stone after student teaching here AND attending Stone as a student!

It has always been my dream to become an impactful educator like the teachers I was so blessed to have at Stone... and now I get to teach with so many of my former teachers and mentors!

Teaching has always been a passion and dream of mine, and after graduating from Anderson University in December 2021, I decided to move to Charleston County to teach first grade from January to June 2022.

Now, I am so excited to begin my second year at a school that feels like home. Stone is home because Stone is a family, and I am thankful that your student is part of our class family this year! Second Grade is the BEST, and I cannot wait for all the amazing things ahead.

When I am not learning alongside my amazing students, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. You may find me walking to downtown Greenville for coffee and Judson's Books, biking along the Swamp Rabbit Trail, or playing mini golf at McPherson Park.

College

I graduated in Dec. 2021 from Anderson University with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education with an Add-On in Early Childhood Education.

My Family

I'm the oldest of four!

Nature Focus

Our class theme is a garden because we are growing as we learn, especially through nature.

Here we GROW in 2nd grade!

Some of my favorite things about 2nd grade:

We READ READ READ!

We go on amazing field trips (like this photo at Paris Mtn State Park)!

We learn about growth mindset and trying new things... like cursive!

We are a class family.
