It's All About Me!

Mrs. Lindsay Sanders

Welcome to the 2017 - 2018 school year! My name is Lindsay Sanders and I am honored be your child’s seventh grade social studies teacher. I graduated from Auburn University with a degree in elementary education, taught for several years, and then decided to stay home with my children. Before returning to teaching, I earned my master's degree in education and nine years ago earned National Board certification. I am looking forward to my 17th year of teaching in this wonderful school. I can honestly tell you that I look forward to every day with my students, and feel thankful for a profession that I truly love.

On the personal front, I am married to my amazing husband, Robert, who retired from the Army a few years ago, and now runs the JROTC program at Liberty High School. We have two great sons. Matt is a Clemson graduate who works in the computer software development business. He married our beautiful daughter-in-law, Megan, last November and they live in Charleston. Chris is a captain in the Army and is married to our other beautiful daughter-in-law, Meredith. Chris and Meredith are the parents of our precious grandsons, Jack (age 4) and Wade (age 18 months). They live in Durham where Chris is working on his master's degree at Duke University.

I can promise you a 110% effort on my part to make this a great year for your child in social studies. I expect my students to work hard and to be respectful of their fellow students and me. Here's to an exciting year exploring this amazing world in which we live!
