Introduction: Welcome to first grade! I have over 25 years experience teaching with most of the years being with first grade. I went to Central Wesleyan College. It is now known as Southern Wesleyan University. I have my Master of Arts as a reading specialist from Furman University. I am highly qualified and certified by South Carolina to teach early childhood and elementary education.

I am married to Quay Johnson. He retired from the school system after teaching 30 years. We have two boys, Luke and John. Luke is a junior at NGU and John is beginning a new adventure as a college student! He is also going to NGU!

I enjoy riding the four wheeler on the Johnson family property, going with my boys to action movies, cooking, reading, and listening to music.
