IMPORTANT INFO

School Healthroom/Medication Announcement

We have started a new procedure for medication drop off and refills. We ask that you call our school nurse, Norma at 355-5307 and set up an appointment prior to coming to the school and dropping off or refilling your student's medication. This will help us limit the amount of traffic we have in our front office.

Free & Reduced Applications for School Lunch

Free & Reduced Lunch Applications are now available online for the 2020-2021 school year. This is the quickest and most accurate method to apply for Free and Reduced-Price Meals. The application can be accessed at http://greenville.schoollunchapp.com

*All parents are encouraged to complete the online application when apply for Free & Reduced Priced Meals.

Accessing Your Student’s Google Email

These instructions below are to help you access your student's Gmail account with Greenville County Schools.

  1. Go to google.com

  2. At the top right corner, click on the Gmail and/or Sign-In button

  3. Once there you will sign in using your student's email address that ends with @greenvilleschools.us and the password, which is their birthday (00/00/00) - this will be six digits.

  4. It may ask you to retype the username and password; if so, retype without the @greenvilleschools.us

  5. Once signed in, it will take you to the Gmail inbox for that email address. If it doesn’t take you straight to the inbox, click Gmail in the top right corner.

Parent Backpack:

Please take a moment to set up access to the Parent Backpack if you do not have an account. A backpack for parents account provides parents, guardians, or contacts with a central place to sign in to do the following:

  • View their student's information including demographics, attendance, classes, grades, lunch balances, and test scores

  • Apply or register their student to Special Focus schools and programs (Fine Arts Center, Career Centers, etc.)

  • Receive alerts and notifications regarding their students

  • View their student's school and contact information

  • Manage parent and contact information for their students

Report Cards were mailed last year as a courtesy to families. Parents will use the Parent Backpack to access this information during the 2020-2021 school year.

Parent Backpack Video Tutorial:

Parents can go to this link https://parents.gcsbackpack.com/signin.aspx and scroll to the bottom of the page. At the bottom of the page click 'How does this work?' and then click on the 'How to get started in Backpack for parents' link in the pop-up for a video that walks them through the process.

** We can now verify parent information virtually once parents begin the backpack process.
