About the Teachers
About Us
My name is Lisa Hammett. I am a product of Greenville County Schools (Monaview Elementary, Monaview Middle and Parker High School.) This is my 35th year of teaching. I taught at Overbrook Child Development Center for 8 years before coming to Northwest Crescent. This is our 27th year! I graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Early Childhood in 1989 and received my Master's Degree in Special Education from Furman University in 1995. I received National Board Certification in 2001 and I recertified in 2011! I have a 30 year old son, Andrew who is a graduate of Clemson University and currently lives in Greenville. I have a 25 year old stepson, David who is a a graduate of USC-Columbia. He currently lives in Greenville. I am married to Scotty Hammett. He is activities coordinator at The Woodlands. We have a little girl (Goldendoodle) named Chesney and a granddog named Arnold(Rotweiller) They keep us very busy!
My name is Tammi Jenkins. I have many years of early childhood experience. I am a graduate of North Greenville College. I studied early childhood education at Converse College and I also studied at Lander College. This is where I met my husband Michael. We have been married 37 years. We have two children who are both graduates of USC-Upstate. Michael has a degree in biology and works in the medical field. Mikey is expecting his first baby this fall. Tatiana has an education degree in middle level education, with a concentration in ELA and SS. She earned a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She was married this summer and moved to Virginia. She is a teacher in Virginia. GO USC!
