What are we learning about in September?

Kindergarten is learning how to make a coil out of air dry clay and turn it into a pumpkin. 

First grade is creating clay sculptures inspired by the mice on main. 

Second Grade is learning about the Mexican holiday Dia de los Muertos by creating a guitar inspired by the artwork of that holiday. 

Third grade is learning learning about pottery by making leaf bowls. They will also glaze them before they bring them home. 

Fourth grade is learning about cartooning by making Tim Burton inspired self portraits.  They will also be making some landscapes with a spooky theme. 

Fifth Grade is making a sculpture for downtown Fountain Inn and creating a sugar skull out of clay.
