Mrs. Becker

Education: 

I graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and my ELL/ESOL Endorsement.  I taught in Florida for 15 years, 5 years in 2nd grade and 10 years in 3rd grade. I also taught 4th grade at Chandler Creek Elementary in 2020. 

Family:

My husband and I have been married for 18 years, and we have a son named Brantley.  He will be in 5th grade this year! My mom, stepdad, Abuela (grandma), and my older sister and her family all live in Palm Beach County, Florida.  We moved to South Carolina during the summer of 2020, so it's different not being so close to them.  Thank goodness for FaceTime!

• I love Starbucks coffee.

• Peanut M&M's, Twix, and Snickers are my favorite candy.

• My favorite book is "The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane," by Kate DiCamillo.

• I love cats and dogs.

• I am a GATORS fan (University of Florida).

• I am Cuban.

• I can speak, read, and write in Spanish.

• The beach is my happy place.

• My family and I love to travel.
