About Me

My name is Shauna Baltes and this is my second year at Greenville High School. I will be part of the Freshman Academy this year teaching Biology and I am so excited!!

I have been teaching Biology, Earth Science and most recently Genetics over the past 9 years. I grew up in California, started teaching there and then lived and taught in Georgia before moving to Greenville in early 2019.

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband, 1 year-old daughter, and 2 dogs. We love being outdoors, cooking, watching sports, being on the water (lakes, rivers, beaches... you name it!) and hanging out with our family.

I look forward to getting to know all of my students this year and having a great school year!
