Unit 1: Non-Fiction
In this Unit, we will be reading lots of informational texts and learning the art of annotations to become active readers. We will begin our AOW's (Article of the Week) to gain exposure to the non-fiction texts we will be reading on the English II EOC.
Unit 2: Asia/Short Stories
In this unit, we will be reading several fictional short stories and continue the annotation process.
Unit 3: Greece
In this unit, we are going to be reading several dystopian short stories as well as the novel Fahrenheit 451.
Unit 4: America
In this unit, we will be learning background information about William Shakespeare as well as reading Julius Caesar.

In this unit throughout the year, we will be practicing how to effectively write a TDA as well as work on practice EOC type questions.
