Mrs. Dickerson

Hello! My name is Teresa Dickerson and I am excited to begin my second year as an interventionist at Mitchell Road Elementary School. I have 30 plus years teaching experience that includes being a classroom teacher, ESOL teacher, and teaching in the gifted and talented program. I am certified in Elementary Education and ESOL and hold an endorsement in gifted and talented education. I received my undergraduate and graduate degrees through coursework completed at USC Upstate, Converse College, Furman University, and Clemson University.

My husband Andy and I live in Landrum. We see lots of wildlife around our home including deer, turkeys, and black bears! We are the proud parents of Hayden and Lee Anna. They are both graduates of the University of South Carolina. Go Gamecocks! We celebrated the marriage of Hayden to his wife Annabelle in May. Lee Anna is a first grade teacher. We also have a miniature dachshund named Bauer. My hobbies include reading mysteries, working in my flower gardens, working jigsaw puzzles, solving word puzzles like WORDLE and WAFFLE, and trying out new recipes.
