What a joy it is to be back in my home state near my home town. I am originally from Anderson, South Carolina and have been blessed with my experiences world wide. My journey started with a degree in Elementary Education from Coastal Carolina University and a 5th grade class in Columbia, South Carolina. After 12 years of teaching there I felt a calling to go to Beijing, China and teach. My daughter and I packed up and went for 6 years. We returned from China in order for her to go to high school and I taught in the low country of SC for 4 years while getting my master's degree in teacher leadership. Once she graduated, I returned overseas teaching in Egypt, Pakistan and twice in Kuwait. I am delighted to now have returned and teaching my states students once again.
