Meet Mrs. Shaw...

This is my 20th year teaching art (6th at RGS) and I love every minute of it. I love art and I am fanatical about making things. Printmaking might be my favorite medium, but I enjoy any kind of art making. My goal as an art teacher is to provide as many different art experiences as possible for students. I want students to experience a wide variety of art media and techniques and to see the connection that art has to everything in the real world. Art makes the world go round! I am married to an artist and we have two kids who both attend RGS. In my free time, you’ll find me on a hiking trail, especially if it ends at a waterfall.
