About Mrs. Pope

     Hi!  My name is Rachel Pope, and I am so excited to be your child's K5 teacher!  This will be an exciting year, and I cannot wait to see what the 2023-24 school year brings. 

     This is my twelfth year teaching--one year in first grade, and eleven years in K5, and I have loved every minute of it!  I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education in 2010 from USC Upstate, and knew that teaching was my passion from a very young age.

     I live in Reidville with my husband, Dan, and our daughter, Charlotte, who is ten and a fifth-grader at Bell's Crossing, a son named Caleb who is no longer with us, and our two-year old, Jacob. I love spending time with family, attending and participating in church, and watching movies and listening to music.

     I am very excited to see what will happen during this new journey, and will love seeing how your children grow!

About Mrs. Slaton

Hello Pandas!  My name is Rosemary Slaton and I am your teacher assistant.  I am so excited to meet and watch you grow this coming school year.  

     This is my 9th year at Bell’s Crossing as a teaching assistant and my third year with Mrs. Pope. Mrs. Pope and I are so excited to work together.  My children, Justin 25 and Catie 18, both came to school at Bell’s Crossing.  So I have been a part of the Bell’s Family for a long time, first as a parent then a staff member.   

   When I am with my family we love to cheer on our Kentucky Wildcats during football and especially basketball season, I love to read and spending time with my family and friends.
