About Mrs. Nixon
I can't believe it, but this is already my 5th year teaching! I have taught in kindergarten and second grade. I graduated from Ohio University with my degree in Early Childhood Education. Go Bobcats! After graduation I received my K-3 Reading Endorsement and a 4th/5th grade Generalist Endorsement. My husband and I moved to Greenville this summer from Cleveland, Ohio right after our wedding. I am a huge animal lover and we have one dog and two cats. In my spare time I love to read, bike, and try new recipes. I am so excited to be teaching kindergarten this year and to be a part of the mighty Mauldin Eagles!
About Mrs. Maurer
This is my sixth year as an assistant in kindergarten. Previously I taught for 8 years and then became a stay at home mom for 12 years. I have a B.S. in Elementary Education from Auburn University. My family consists of my husband, Rich and my three daughters Kaitlyn, Laura, and Alyssa. I will soon have a son-in-law as my oldest is getting married on September 14th. We are so excited!I cannot wait to meet your children! We will love them like our own.
