I was born and raised in Greer, South Carolina. I went to Converse College where I received my Bachelor’s degree in the field of education, specifically elementary and special education. I returned there to receive my Master’s degree in the same areas. I am in my 12th year of teaching. My husband’s name is Brannen and we have a 4 year old little boy, Macklin. Our class pet is Phillip, the guinea pig.
