About Mrs. Fernandez

Hello! Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! My name is Camelia Fernandez, and I am super excited to be a part of the Monaview Elementary ESOL team! I am originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico. I studied Elementary Education at the University of Central Florida and received a master’s degree in Reading Education from NOVA Southeastern University. I recently finished my ESOL endorsement at the Universtiy of South Carolina Aiken. I have worked as a teacher for a total of 15 years in second, third, and fourth grades. I love spending time with my family and friends. I'm looking forward to a great year!

Saludos! Mi nombre es Camelia Fernandez y estoy muy emocionada de ser la maestra de su hijo/a. Soy originalmente de Puerto Rico, pero he vivido en  la Florida y Greenville por bastante tiempo. Estudie para ser maestra en la Universidad de Central Florida y luego hize la maestria en lectura en la Universidad NOVA Southeastern. He trabajado como maestra por 15 años en segundo, tercero y cuarto grado. Estoy muy emocionada de comenzar un ano escolar nuevo.
