Meet the Teacher

I am so excited to be at Paris Elementary! This is my fifth year teaching fourth grade at this amazing school. I have previously taught at Oakview Elementary for 18 years, with most of my time being in fourth grade.  (It is definitely my favorite!)

I grew up in Greenville, and my husband and I have raised our children here. My daughter now attends the College of Charleston, and my son  is a student at Clemson. I also went to Clemson...GO TIGERS!

When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family (that includes our 5 dogs), going to the beach, and traveling. Some of our recent destinations have  included Hawaii, California, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, Key West, Disneyland and Disneyworld ! When football season approaches, we can be found tailgating and watching the tigers play.

Teaching is very important to me, and I love getting to know my students. So, I look forward to an amazing year together!
