I am from Greenville, SC (Taylors actually)  and graduated from WHHS. I then graduated from University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!) with a degree in Marketing and International Business focus before going to Converse College for my Masters in Teaching degree.

I began my teaching career in 2008. I have my Masters in Education and am highly qualified to teach PreK-5th grade and Special Education. I have taught 6-8th grade at League Academy and Northwest Middle, K-5th in Concord, NC and Heritage Elementary.  I am happy to call Stone my home since 2019. Stone and 4th grade are my "perfect fit"! Working with children is my true passion. My husband and I have three sons and a dog that keep us on our toes each day! 

I completed the Kennedy Center Arts Integration and SMART Arts training and am excited to implement dance, art and inclusive practice into our classroom on a daily basis. 

When I am not working with students I love to read, garden, be on the farm, go to the beach or mountains all while spending time with my wonderful family!
